   I'll leave Gainesville at 1:10 A.M. Tues.

Guess where I'm at now mom. Well I'm in the Guard House. No not a prisoner (yet). I'm on guard from now 6 till 10 till tomorrow afternoon at 5:30 P.M.

I go on guard again at 10 oclock tonight till 1:00 them I'm off for 4 more hrs. We have 2 hrs. guard and 4 hrs. off for 24 hours.

Well mother you'll probably get a telegram from me before you receive this letter letting you know when I come, or rather when I'll arrive.

Well mother not too much more to say so I'll close with lots of love to you mother dear, daddy and the kids.

   Your loving son

"Jimmy"
P.S.

See you soon mom, if nothing goes wrong.
