Sun. 10:40 A.M.
Dearest Mother,
I received the money you sent me, and tomorrow as soon as I get paid tomorrow I'm going in town
and buy my ticket.
I'll leave Gainesville at 1:10 A.M. Tues.
Guess where I'm at now mom. Well I'm in the Guard House. No not a prisoner (yet). I'm on
guard from now 6 till 10 till tomorrow afternoon at 5:30 P.M.
I go on guard again at 10 oclock tonight till 1:00 them I'm off for 4 more hrs. We have 2 hrs.
guard and 4 hrs. off for 24 hours.
Well mother you'll probably get a telegram from me before you receive this letter letting you
know when I come, or rather when I'll arrive.
Well mother not too much more to say so I'll close with lots of love to you mother dear, daddy
and the kids.
