Nephew Jim Jr.'s Final Notes

Aunt Pauline was a super kind and gentle person, extremely bright and witty and quick to engage us toddlers visiting our grandparents' house with interesting conversation. We learned of and were amazed by her disciplined diet that seemed to us to consist solely of various vegetable juices, but of course that has to be selective memory on my part from too long a time ago.

It was also very impressive the way she selflessly uprooted herself from an easy life after retirement to move to Fort Lauderdale to live with and lend assistance to her sister Grace who had fallen ill at the time.
