Sophia's Discover America Tour - July, 2008

The photos on these pages are from a drive across the country, from Pennsylvania to Oregon, in July of 2008. Nicole Harris (Sophia's mom) had a professional meeting in Portland, Oregon (The American Association of Law Librarians), and since Michael, Sophia's dad, could not get off work, she suggested that Eileen (Sophia's Nonna) accompany her. Since neither of the adults enjoy flying, somehow they convinced Jim (Sophia's Pop-Pop) to drive them to Oregon and back, but threw in the bonus of making it a "Sophia Discovers America" tour. Sophia may not remember all of the sights she saw, but she will have these pictures to enjoy (along with the rest of us).
